Audio CD Description

With its heavy-duty distortion, weighty rhythms, and cynical lyrics, Tool is a heavy metal band for the '90s. Rather like Metallica circa

Comments From Our Customers

Quality Song On A Mediocre Production

I love this CD... god there are some amazing songs on this CD. I understand that tool kinda wanted a murkier, grungier kinda tone to the recordings, which is sweet and all, its just not my cup of tea for an entire album. Overall, great songs, a lot of intermissions I find, but still, great CD, worth a listen.

Tool at their best

First things first. Picked up 10,000 days Tuesday. The CD is amazing. Tool has matured as a band since their inception. I think 10,000 days is a great album but you have to really like Tool to like that album. That being said, Aenima is STILL the best Tool album ever. In all honesty, it's probably my favorite album of any band ever! A masterpiece! I love all of their albums and they're definitely on my short list of all-time great bands. If you had to buy one Tool album, buy Aenima. 10,000 Days, Laterlus, and Undertow are great, but nothing like this!

Their Best Work

Quite simply Tool's best work. After just acquiring 10,000 days, along with many listens, I can still honestly say Aenima is still their greatest album. Strong in all aspects, lyrics, instrumentals, meaning, organization of songs, etc. Some people who expected Tool to maintain their Opiate and Undertow sound have been disappointed, however, good bands that survive a long time tend to change their sound and Tool has done that successfully on this album.
