Sgt. Peppers? This is way better

This is by far the best album the Beatles made (yes, even better than Abbey Road). I personally find Sgt. Pepper's mediocre; Revolver is a million times better. "Taxman" and "Eleanor Rigby," well, everyone knows those. In fact I think they're two of the worst songs on the album, which says something about how great it is! "I'm Only Sleeping" is absolutely gorgeous. "Love You To" is maybe my favorite George Harrison/Beatles song of all time; it really takes you to India. "Here, There and Everywhere" is a very pretty Paul McCartney song. "Yellow Submarine," what is there left to be said? You all know it already. "She Said She Said" is a really lovely, psychedelic song that I like a lot. Very enjoyable. Now starts the more filler-ish section of the album... "Good Day Sunshine" and "And Your Bird Can Sing" are great but not spectacular. "For No One" I kind of dislike, because it's so sad and minimal, but perhaps you'll like it. "Doctor Robert" is pretty decent. Then we get the amazing finish: "I Want To Tell You" is a catchy, great Harrison song; "Got to Get You Into My Life" is pretty neat; "Tomorrow Never Knows" is the best song after "Love You To" on here, with its trippy effects and cool, well, cool everything.

The only band that.........

The Rolling stones may be the "greatest rock and roll band in the world" . Elvis may be " the king of rock and roll ".The Clash may be "the only band that matters" . Nirvana may be the greatest thing since sliced bread . But The Beatles........ are the only band that lives up to the hype.

Far and away the best rock album ever made!

There is not much to say that hasn't been said in the last 40 years about Revolver. I certainly cannot add much to the discussion other than to say every rock music fan should own this album.
