Good stuff...

but not the amazing classic some of the hype may lead you to believe (maybe it was at its initial release.) Either way, it's a great album with great beats and well worth the $6 I got it for on ebay.

A Real Trip

first instrumental hip hop album i had ever heard and all i gotta say is SUPPORT DJ Shadow and BUY this album

One of the best turntablist albums ever

"Endtroducing..." is pretty much unparalled in the turntablist world, and rightfully so. Every song has a charm to it that rewards repeated listens and the album as a whole is very fun and interesting to listen to. It's also extremely mellow and definitely GREAT background music for whenever you're hanging out with friends. It's also pretty funny on occasion, and it does seem to cover several different styles throughout the album without getting too full of itself. For its day it was also a pretty experimental album - one that wasn't merely for hip-hop fans. Most people in the world will enjoy this album a great deal (like my father who only listens to classic rock and Radiohead). Basically, anyone who's interested in turntablism ought to check this out along with Coldcut's "Journeys By DJ - 70 Minutes Of Madness" and Kid Koala's "Carpal Tunnel Syndrome" (though this one not as much). Absolutely recommended!
