Great introduction to Conte's style
"Sparring Partner," the haunting theme from Francis Ozon's film, 5x2, prompted me to purchase this CD. As my introduction to Conte, this collection of upbeat, lyrical songs (sung in Italian, of course) has been a hit with my French students. Track three, "Via Con Me," is featured on the soundtrack of the American film, "French Kiss," attesting to the atmosphere that his lively rhythms and deep voice create.
