Hendrix rocks man! There's no better guitar player than him... This cd has it's best songs but my favourites are: Purple Haze, Hey Joe, The Wind Cries Mary, Voodoo Child and Foxey Lady. It's the compilation of the best guitar player of all time and it's too bad he died so young.

For the ignorant reviewer who panned Hendrix ( Biz Bitter Lang) or "Mr. White-Collared Conservative Flashing Down The Street". He could play better with his teeth than those "greats" you talked about. I guess you're too "respectable", too "sophisticated" to get it. I wish Hendrix were alive now so he could join Neil on his new song "Impeach the President"... Hendrix was the Master!

Hendrix may have been a drug attict and an unbalanced human being. But how does that take away from his talent? His guitar playing is legendary, seconded by none and equalled by few over these decades since his death. Especially now in this decade when popular music seems so watered down and shallow that we need to look back at the vibrant colorful pallette of the past. Bands like Zeppelin, Cream, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and others must be cherished.
