Audio CD Description

The king of pop parodies returns with another zany collection of tunes that poke fun at pop culture. There are a handful of undeniably funny moments--notably "The Saga Begins," which pairs the tune to Don McLean's horrendously sentimental "American Pie" with the plot to the first

Comments From Our Customers

Not so much a review, more of a correction!

I'd just like to correct all of the people who say that Germs is a parody of Closer, it isn't , it's a parody of Terrible Lie, which is also by Nine Inch Nails and appears on the same album as closer. Germs does NOT sound like closer, it doesn't do the Closer chorus!

The Perfect Comedy Album

Weird Al is the best of the best. He's better than Cletus T. Judd (country parodiest), Larry the Cable Guy, and Jeff Foxworthy COMBINED. Here's the grades of each song (with the original song in parentheses):

Wonderful Song Parodies

I love song parodies and here are some of Weird Al's best. "The Saga Begins" is especially memorable. He tells the story of Star Wars, Episode I to the tune of "American Pie".... My, my this here Anakin guy... maybe Vader someday later now he's just a small fry.... Another winner is "Pretty Fly for a Rabbi".
