Great music for baby AND mom

I bought this CD with a gift card, because I wanted some soothing music for my daughter's naptime. In looking at the titles of the pieces, I didn't recognize very many, but in listening to the CD I found that I recognize much of the music. I was pleased at how calming it was and found myself humming various pieces throughout the day.

Baby Mozart - Music CD

I love all of the Baby Einstein DVD's, so the music CD has been just as good as the DVD's. I play it all the time when my son is in the car and it seems to calm him and keep his attention.

My son's favorite CD!

I received this wonderful CD as a shower gift and began playing it for my son while I was still pregnant, placing the earphones around my abdomen. We would listen to it twice a day, along with some other CDs, up until the day he was born. After he was born, I didn't play the CD for two weeks, but when I finally did, after the first few notes, he immediately stopped what he was doing and with wide eyes turned his head toward the sound. He was completely quiet and focused for much of the CD! I would not recommend it for "sleepy time" if your child is easily startled awake as the intro is a bit robust (as are a few of the other pieces). As often as we have listened to this CD, I never grow tired of it, and, it seems, neither does he!
