A Classic Rock and Roll Album.
What can be said about "Highway To Hell"? Most everyone has it in their CD collection. It's a classic Rock album that will still be played and on the racks 100 years from now. AC/DC is one of the most important bands in the past 30 years. The notch that they have carved out of Rock and Roll history is one to be appreciated, even by non fans. There is not a weak track on this album. It's pure and genuine. AC/DC albums will outlive us all, lets bask in the glow of their majestic presence!
HIGHWAY TO HELL
This is AC/DC finest and strongest album since If You Want Blood album. Their songs have a mix of heavy metal and punk rock, something like punk metal. Their songs are strong and clever including their famous song Touch Too Much and their infamous Night Prowler (it would later inspire the Night Stalker). Girls Got Rhythm has a lot of rhythm and backseat rhythm, but just don't be sad if your Shot Down In Flames. The song If You Want Blood, will give you blood including the music video. The songs do get hot especially Get It Hot and Love Hungry Man. You could talk crap about this album, but I'll Walk All Over You. A lot of people like to mess around now in days, but Beating Around The Bush is better. I love this song. Then there is the first song, Highway To Hell. The song is amazing and mesmerizing, it's hard to describe it. Highway To Hell is AC/DC at their best, even if you don't like them... you'll probably like 1 song off this album.
AC/DC=Rock 'n Roll
The Bon Scott era of AC/DC is one of the rawest forms of Rock 'n Roll you will find. No frills, no deep messages, just mean guitars, driving drum beats, and lyrics about sex, violence, drugs, and booze. There was no ego; they never took anything too seriously(which seems to happen painfully often with rock stars). This band was all about having fun and playing some @ss-kicking Rock 'n Roll. And what the hell is a Green Day fan from Bakersfield doing rating this masterpiece? Leaving everyone who reads it dumber and less qualified to identify good music. Comparing Billie Joe Armstrong and Bon Scott is a sin. So, if you want to listen to pathetic wanna-be punk than follow that fellow's review and listen to some Greenday. But, if you want to listen to some Rock 'n Roll at it's finest, than this is just the thing you're looking for.
