Luminous and breathtaking

This is the best CD I have heard in a long time! I loved their first album, "Can You Hear Us?", but this one is an incredible step up! The guitars are mixed beautifully between loud and jangly modern rock (Open Skies, No one Like You) to the soft and sweet sounds of "Only You", to the jazzy, funky beat of "Intoxicating" to the emo-rockish "Deliver Me". "O Praise Him" is by itself probably the best worship song to be written in awhile, I mean with lyrics like "Turn your gaze to heaven and raise a joyous noise, the sound of salvation come the sound of rescued ones and all this for a King.....all for Christ our King!!!" All the lyrics are fresh, yet simple. David Crowder expresses things that I want to express so simply yet with such depth that it helps you understand the meaning of truly communing with God. AWESOME

I bought this CD when it came out, after DCB was the worship band at our church camp in Colorado Summer '03. They're awesome. Their music is very unique and powerful. I love being able to worship with them.
