Pretty good selection of songs Wow - this cd set has it all! I particulary like the 4th cd and play it all the time for my 3 month old. You'll definitely enjoy hours upon hours of kiddie music.
buyer beware If you are into the old childrens songs from the 50's, 60's, and 70's (you know the ones: they were played by your kindergarten teacher on a record player)- then this set of 4 disks are for you. Personally, I was hoping for something a little more modern. These all sound like they were recorded directly from a 45LP. Not the highest quality.
Diverse selection of songs, but not crazy about the toddler vocals This collection offers a huge selection of just about any children's tune you grew up with. Some songs I'd even forgotten about. The collection offers songs that represent the various regions and ethnicities that make up American culture--African-American folksongs, traditional English songs, and bluegrass-inspired songs of the South, for example. And, many of the adult performers do great silly versions of songs which children no doubt enjoy.
