Fantastico!

This music haunts me since I first heard it in Manoa over a year ago. I was in a CD shop when I heard them playing this and immediately bought it. I play it still and love it every time. The descriptions of it as down tempo flamenco and such are more or less accurate. I would just add that it is great, individual, highly melodic latin music. One of the best CDs of any genre i have heard in years. Buy it by all means!!!

Warm, cool, and fantastic

Though Aubele is first and foremost a guitar player, he has created a warm and inviting record that crosses electronica, dub, and Latin guitar music while capturing the sound and atmosphere of Buenos Aires. Aubele's songs are melancholy, sunny, free-spirited, and celebratory. And always at the center of most tracks is Aubele's hypnotizing guitar. Even though the sultry female vocals are sung in Spanish, one doesn't have to understand the language in order to embrace and fall in love with this wonderful record. If I could give this six stars, I would do so in a heartbeat.

perfect sunshiny, summer album

this is an amazingly good album. warm, sexy, classy, melodic, cool ... . in line of gotan project but with much more feel, emotion, rythm. dub is great, federico's guitar is wonderful, the voices in spanish so sexy. truly, one of the best albums i've ever heard. i look forward to the next one.
