| Audio CD Description Somewhat remarkably, the youthful trio Rascal Flatts has an uncanny ability to sound 20-something going on 13. They are often dismissed as just another slick, contrived "boy band," though that hasn't kept them from chart-topping success. Admittedly, these Rascals do sound slick and even generic on run-of-the-mill teem anthems like "Fast Cars and Freedom" and "The Day Before You." Yet, on a few shining tracks like "Bless the Broken Road," "When the Sand Runs Out," and a lovely hidden cut called "Skin," the chic threesome also betrays poise, maturity, and thoughtfulness amid its chart-conscious predictability. |

What about Sarabeth? I purchased this CD online and I didn't realize that the edition I purchsed didn't include the song "Skin (Sarabeth)". I looked at this CD in my local "Best Bud" store and there it is, added as an Special Song or something like that. I'm not happy. I've been looking for that song for months. Hummm. Guess I'll have to see if I can buy that tune as a separate download. Good CD no matter what that Sirrus jock says.
Suddenly very disappointed..... My daughter and I both bought this CD when it was first released in 2004. We have every CD ever put out by Rascal Flats. However, with the recent raves on the CMT video of "Skin/Sarabeth" which we all think is terrific, we were totally disappointed to find out this was the one "hidden track" on this CD; but, NOT ON OURS! Our "Feels Like Today" CD's have two "hidden tracks" NEITHER of them being "Skin/Sarabeth". I think it UNFAIR to have 2 different cuts of this CD. We wanted this song, and are extremely disappointed to find it's missing on our CD's. We should not have to buy the CD over again to get this song!
Great CD I enjoyed this cd very much. I've played it over and over... I just can't get enough. The band is awesome. I'll make sure to pick up anything new that comes out by Rascal Flatts. |
