good comeback not but strong
i think this cd show mariah power to comeback their are very few singer that have crossover and apreal everyone i find it hard to say that today singers don,t have the skill that she has. and oh American idol IS TRY TO THE good SINGERS back. kelly and fan so far the only two artists that have been sucessfull from that show. But mariah has something that i call the crossover zone singers like tina turner in the 1980,s she went into rock before she was r&b she conquer both rock and pop to me this example make she real singer besides the big voice . barbra steristand was greatest pop icon of sixtys and 70,s she rule for 20 years on pop chart gloria estefan is another crossover from the 80,s she had the appeal to bring people togather some thing i feal she was able to do without lose her fanbase unlike mrs jackson who donesn,t have and loyal fanbase. RIGHT NOW you have great artists like cher and sheryal crow but thosse two big with the pop world one thing that bites me i heard that she doesn,t like madonna .but she likes celine dion and whitney i can understand her point of view about this issue nobody likes madonna from cher to mariah. this cd got radio air all last year after 3 bad cd,s rainbow and gitter charmbarcelett. SHE COME WITH A GOOD ONE HOPELY SHE WILL STOP Debating with madonna and find a way to save music we have fantasia and kelly but we more than two contesdents a popluar tv show that give us a good voice every two seasons. i guess she best the vocallist that we have now.

A true, new, R&B classic
In recent times Mariah Carey has been harshly singled out, particulary by gutter press, about her music and even worse printing detailed stories about her personal life. Whether these stories are true or not is irrelevant, by being a superstar singer does she really deserve to have her life or lies whatever it is dragged through the papers. Mariah has a certain responsibility as a role model to people that look up to her and in my opinion she fulfils it admirably with style and class. I have witnessed on many an occasion after interviews, the way she treats fans with respect standing there signing autographs. Now we have set the record sort of straight let us talk about all that we care about Mariah and her amazing music career. The biggest selling artist of the 90's a Blue Chip award for receiving over a 100 certifications for her releases. This album has everything that is good about Mariah musically. The album opens with her urban chart monster "It's Like That", personally not my favourite cut on the album but it served a purpose and done that job admirably. "We Belong Together" follows next a superbly written, produced and vocalled smooth as silk swayer that is so made for Mariah it is a joke. "Shake It Off" is more mid-beat but just as strong. Mariah joins forces with the oh so talented James Poyser on the sublime silky smooth "Mine Again". Mariah rejoins with Snoop on "Say Somethin'" as solid as they come solid radio friendly R&B track. The producer that can do no wrong Kanye West produces the best mid- beat cut on the album "Stay The Night" sampling "Betcha By Golly Wow" to it's maximum potential. But if I had to pick a track on this album that summed up why you should by it, is the breath taking "Circles" absolutely phenomenal. This is Mariah at her breath taking vocal best other a smooth as silk backing. "Your Girl" is so retro its sick largely due to its sample use of "A Life With You" recorded by Adeaze. This solid track really shows Mariah's passion for ol' school soul. The slick and silky smoothed out "I Wish You Know" adds even more class to this album, if that's possible. Clubwise there is no finer cut on this album than the Neptunes produced and Nelly featured "To The Floor". The chants, near marching snare drums and Pharells vocals added to Mariah at her seductive vocal best all add to this masterpiece that should have been and was going to be at one point the first single lifted from the album. Whoever changed their mind should have been sacked. The icing on the cake on this album comes via the stunning "Fly Like A Bird". If you are Mariah fan or not this album should be in your record collection.
