Audio CD Description

In what was widely predicted to be a short-lived supergroup/side-project, Audioslave has instead gratifyingly yielded a bonafide band. The follow-up to their promising, if not quite artistically congealed '02

Audioslave

Out of Exile is a great album. I hadn't listened to it in a while then I started listening to it again recently.

Audioslave are as boring as the bands they influenced:

Chris Cornell and company can certainly crank out some really compelling songs. Songs like Your Time has Come work as modern rockers. However, the good songs are predictible and very disposable. They either are playing formulaic rock or trying to become an emo act. These emo type songs are so boring, they should not be played in your car stereo. Chris's voice seems passionless and strained. Tom Morello attempts at playing different and innovative guitar solos outside the norm. There are many times Tom's solos sound nothing like the actual song being played. The solos are awful and make me cringe, it is that bad. Tom Morello is an accomplished guitarist, but he is not as good as Kim Thayl. Kim was able to connect with Chris Cornell's voice with Jurassic riffs and shredding. Tom Morello simply has a different style which does not work with Cornell's voice and it shows on this album as well as their debut. Besides, these guys have become a prototype radio rock band. Chris needs to leave the former Rage Against the Machine and retrace his roots. I don't ever expect Chris to form Soundgarden again. Chris should go back to creating his solo material. At least his solo album Euphoria Morning was creative and ambitious, notlike this commercial pop borderline emo, nu-metal they are playing now. Please Chris record by yourself, your solo album are much more superior!

Good, First Album was Better

When I first heard that Chris Cornell of Soundgarden (one of my favorite bands) was getting together with Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, and Brad Wilk from Rage Against the Machine (one of my least favorite bands) I was skeptical. When they released their first album, I became a fan. Chris Cornell is one of the best vocalists of the last 10 years; and my only problem with
