Great CD!

I read a lot of the reviews on this cd, and i didn't know what to expect. i saw some good reviews but i saw a lot of bad ones. i listened to all the samples but know if i would like it. i finally just bought the cd, and i loved it! this is so a cd to start you nichole n. collection with! don't listen to the bad reviews! this cd rules! here are my ratings:

Better than most CCM music but not her personal best

We all love Ms. Nordeman for different reasons, but they usually center on her fine gift for lyrics. Her voice is great, but there are other great voices; her piano abilities are top-notch, but there are other pianists. Her lyrics are insightful and bone-piercingly honest.

contemporary christian pop

This is actually my first Nichole Nordeman cd purchase. I got it because of the extremely catchy, christian radio hit "Brave". It became my personal anthem to see beyond now to what I could be if I only took a step of faith outside the comfort zone. Nichole is a flawless vocalist. "What If" is such a great song both, lyrically and melodically, that addreses the reality or otherwise of the existence of the Man, Jesus.
