Audio CD Description

It's rare to see two marquee-name composers credited for a score, but perhaps two people were needed to come up with something that would stand up to the memory of Danny Elfman's work on the 1989

Comments From Our Customers

Just as powerful as the movie.

Alot of the time the music, if not makes, contributes greatly to a movie's atmosphere. This is certainly the case with Batman Begins. Its an awesome movie, and at least some of the credit must go to the composers. Awesome music, buy it.

Awesome.

I haven't been really excited about a movie soundtrack since Vagelis' Blade Runner, or Basil Poledouris' Conan the Barbarian. This work is a dark and unique masterpiece that is so good, it doesn't seem to know that it's just a soundtrack. At times it is delicately moving, at times majestically powerful, but always intensely atmospheric and highly emotional.

Wonderful Howard swamped by brash Zimmer.

Zimmer's synthetic world of sound would be better suited to video games than movies. His product is not music at all, but rather "sounds" that are to music what plastic plants are to horticulture.
