talent doesn't dwindle
With an aged artist, expectations are frequently made only to disappoint, and considering Chapman's past success, they had to be high amongst her avid fans. With "Where You Live" Chapman meets these expectations only to surpass them. No disappointment here.
4-1/2 stars -- Where great music resides
I'll admit it; I like Tracy Chapman, but I'm one of those people that if anyone ever asked me what songs she made, I'd probably just mention "Give Me One Reason" and "Fast Car". I didn't know until recently that she released an album last year, and I REALLY didn't know that this album took four years to make, but sometimes I guess that's what it takes to produce great work like Where You Live.
Amazying on all counts
Tracy does it again the albulm come crashing in with "change" and never lets up with raw energy and truth. She has got to be one of the most underated and underplayed songwritres and poets creating art today.
