Amazing

The Fray is a band that you must see live, because a cd does not do these guys justice(for what they are really capable of), but if you can't see them live, you're going to have to settle for the cd. I haven't heard something as original for awhile. Some might say they are like the new Coldplay, however I strongly disagree. They might be inspired and slightly similiar to Coldplay, but they have a definite authentic sound. If you are interested in hearing some laid back music that can really touch a person, I would say you must pick this album up immendiately!

Cynics

I read these reviews with a grain of salt. Granted they sound a bit like Coldplay, but have taken a slightly different path. When did that become a sin? Bottom line is you like what you like, and as far as I know Coldplay didn't write their songs for them. Every artist before plays influence on future artists. So cynics out there keep your negative thoughts to bands that are truly awful. Personally, I love this CD...very listenable.

never a bore to listen to

I only write reviews when I really like something - a lot. So, suffice it to say, I like this CD - a lot. The lead singer in the band has a yearning in his voice that just can't be duplicated. He sings with such emotion. The lyrics are clever, and the songs sound different so you don't feel like you're hearing the same thing over and over again. I highly recommend this one!
