Their Best Album
Disturbed's 3rd album "Ten Thousand Fists" is their best album yet. And like it's name, it comes out swinging. Vocalist/Lyricist David Draiman, guitarist Dan Donegan, drummer Mike Wengren, and new bassist John Moyer have combined to become one of the best current hard rock bands. This album is the best metal release (in my opinion) since Judas Priest "Angel of Retribution". Since, their "Sickness" days the band has improved so much. I think "The Sickness" is their masterpiece but every song has been so-played out on the radio. But, anyway, the lyrics are better and a few of them even take on a political role; the guitars are crunching and hard & reminiscent of Dimebag Darrell. Their beats are unbeatable, this album is pure metal in every aspect. The track list is, as follows:
Best Metal band of 05-06 that inspired me
So far Rob Zombies new album sucks for not changing, Korn new album only has one good single, Static-X new album was the closest of being good as this one but then the songs get old quickly, and then theres Rammstien which also only has two or three good songs in the album while Disturbed I loved every single track and yeah it sounds like a mix of his two last albums but the balance is perfect so this one win for my best Metal album even though I forgot to mention System of a Down while Hypnotize isnt that good its just ok to me but Mezmerise is way better but not as Memorable when it comes to the message of the album that I saw in 10,0000 fist in such a strange way I can relate to it then any of the albums this year but there both almost close as being a tie of being BEST METAL ALBUM from the bands that were making there names main stream since 2001.
10,000 Thumbs Up
Rewind 6 years ago to 2000, and Disturbed was just one of many bands being churned out by various record companies that catered to the nu-metal rock scene that was exploding at the time. Fast forward to 2006 and only a few are still maintstays on the quickly changing atmosphere of mainstream rock. With the release of "10,000 Fists," Disturbed continued to solidify their place on top of the scene.
