Hefty Fine

It's been 11 years since BHG has been doing music and they only made four cds. We have to admit they are going to slow. They started with Use Your Fingers in 1995 a rap cd. It didn't have much succes but next year they came out with One Fierce Beer Coaster (probably BHG's best album) and well every song was different but great. Then went with Hooray For Boobies in 2000 and it was the album that made them really famous because of "The Bad Touch". The people loved BHG cuz they were very funny and made cool songs. Then they dissapeared for 5 years (i thought they broke up) and came up with Hefty Fine. This cd changed them a lot and they changed a lot of members. At first the band members were: Jimmy Pop, Daddy Long Legs, Lupus, Evil Jared and Spanky G. Now they are: Jimmy Pop, DJ Q-Ball, Rick The Guinea Pig, Willie The New Guy and Evil Jared. So the most important members are Jimmy Pop and Evil Jared cause they stayed since the first cd. People loved Jimmy Pop's lyrics cause they were funny, hilarious, offensive, awkward, etc. Now let's get to the album! All the skit are stupid and make no sense. The songs are %90 techno. So that's a good thing for the techno lovers. The lyrics aren't much funny as the other cds but it has it good songs like Uhn Tiss a cool techno song, Pennsylvania (the best song) although BHG is from Pennsylvania and I'm the Least You Could Do who starts with a nice keyboard and then starts rocking. It also has it bad songs like Farting With A Walkman On not only the worst song on the album, it's maybe the worst song ever. Then Something Diabolical a song with Ville Vallo from H.I.M. which is too slow and boring. The rest of the songs are good are very good. I saw that many people stopped liking them cause they prefered there other side but i like this it's just that now that they are over 30 they made some immature songs. But in some they matured. If you are starting to BHG you have 2 options: If you like to have fun and listen to hilarious songs get HFB, OFBC and UYF. But if you like techno, a mature side and don't care about the skits, then you should buy this cd.

This album is underrated

Everybody told me: "Don't buy this album, better get older 'BHG' CD". I got "OFBC" and I thought it's excellent,it's deffinitely one of my favorite CD's I have. Then, today,I bought "Hefty fine". And it's not that bad album as almoast everybody said! Yes,you heard me - this album is underrated. Clearly, lyrics are not that funny, but in musicaly, this is a good album.

Worth The Wait

It's been almost 6 years since we last saw a Bloodhound Gang album, [...] I say three words: Worth the wait. Jimmy Pop's humour has matured slightly, but it is still juvenile in it's own little way. This album is an excellent example of The Bloodhound Gang's maturing and exploration as a band, as all bands do.
