Kirk Franklin gets real...

This album is unparalleled in the Gospel genre. I spent a number of years in a Pentecostal church and eventually burned out from its excesses. It was during this time that Kirk Franklin was ascending, scoring big with 'Stomp.' But I always felt that there was too much Kirk in the music with him talking and interrupting the flow of the songs.

Amazing

I read a few reviews before I bought this album and decided to give Kirk's new CD a try. I love it!!! I'm more into R&B and a little bit of rap but this CD is in constant play in my car. It's not only inspirational but it's so real. Kirk deals with a lot of different issues in his life and the guest appearances are amazing also. Guest such as Stevie Wonder, Fred Hammond, etc. This CD has various beats and melodies and you never know what's next to come. This is a classic. So if you want to be blessed or are just tired of hearing the same ole' thing all the time, invest in this CD. Peace
