Dolly's voice in fine form with a multitude of star-studded guest vocalists!
I'm not really much more than a casual Dolly Parton fan; but this album was both moving and touching for me personally. Dolly chose some great songs to do here, including the infamous title track with Mary Hopkin personally assisting as a guest vocalist. The title track is enhanced even further by the inclusion of vocals by Brenda Lee.
Dolly Parton album, Those Were The Days
Just so much fun and enjoyment. My favorite recording artist of all time, Dolly is just great on this and her fun and creativity shows thru with some great old tunes.
