Promising debut shows great potential

I finally checked out Chamillionaire's big-label debut "The Sound of Revenge", and I'm glad I did. It's an often refreshing album full of well produced southern hip hop tracks. Chamillionaire, a Houston native, is a talented MC who has the ability to switch his flow a lot, rhyming triple time and then moving slower, and he also sings his hooks pretty well. The subject matter on "The Sound of Revenge" is pretty simple, and I'd like to hear more from him in the future. He spends a lot of time bashing haters, calling out to ladies, and talking about riding around and being from the south. He does show glimpses of being a very talented lyricist at times, and others he doesn't. The album takes a number of producers who all do a great job, and the beats remain consistently good throughout the album. "The Sound of Revenge" shows a lot of promise for Chamillionaire and I'm definitely expecting even better from him in the future.

Who is at the top of most radio stations playlists right now? You guessed it, the kid from Houston, rapper Chamillionaire and his new album Sound of Revenge is really dope. If you need something to ride to while on the turnpike then just go ahead and bang that hot single "Ridin'". This track will have you cruisin' and if you get stuck in traffic go ahead and bang the track entitled "Turn It Up" w/ Lil Flip and this song will have you chillin'. The album is dope from beginning to end. The south is really putting their mark on the map. Chamillionaire has one of the best albums out right now. My favorite track is "In The Trunk". The beats are tight and his lyrical style is bangin'. Chamillionaire is going to be bubblin' for a minute and is going to stay on top of the game right now.Peace out yall!
