...then go on to find something that is actually good. I mean, I'm a fan of Shinedown, thanks to the albeit overplayed hit Save Me (which isn't an original song in the first place), the best song on this CD, but when I got it, there really wasn't much else to listen to. I listen to this CD only for Save Me, which coincidentally, is the only reason I choose to keep this CD and not use it for target practice...

I,ve always loved shinedown.So I picked up this cd. I was amazed. Shinedown did it again.Here are my rates.

very good cd

I was driving home from school one day and heard Shinedowns version of "Simple Man" and instantly fell in love with it. I then went on Amazon.com and ordered their "US and Them" cd and i've been playing it ever since. Some of the best songs are Save Me, Shed Some Light, Begin Again, and Someday. I enjoy listening to those. Their lead singer has the perfect style of voice for songs like Shed Some Light and Simple Man. It's nice to know that there are still people out there that can belt out lyrics like that, isntead of saying it like in todays hip-hop and [...](Oh, i mean rap!) I have also downloaded some songs from their first album on itunes. I like 45, Burning Bright (Acoustic version), and Simple Man. Those were the only really good ones that I found from the first "Leave A Whisper" album. All in all, I would say that for a fan of some hard rock and newer alternative music, this is the cd for you. So, ENJOY!!!
