all confused
i really like to listen to soundtracks and everything-they're a whole separate genre of music...the only kind i like. but all music has so much similarities. harry gregson-williams sounds too much like howard shore, howard shore sounds too much john williams, and john williams sounds like james newton howard, and james newton howard sounds like hans zimmer, and hans zimmer sounds like danny elfman(though i don't know how this is possible) and danny elfman sounds like harry gregson-williams, and on and on. really, what i think is: people should put together a cd all for me! with pieces from king kong and chronicles of narnia and peter pan and star wars and harry potter and king arthur and lord of the rings....and on and on. but the similarities are good! but i think no one can be as good as john williams, though i don't listen to him as much as howard shore or harry gregson-williams. (maybe it's because jw is really old!) but this cd is really good anyway. but the reason its 4 stars is because it has some tracks i never listen to (like the people singing, except for Where). I would just go ahead and by this cd anyway, though, because it is just excellent.
A must have cd!
When listening to this album,it's almost as though you are watching the movie in your head. The music on this album is very powerful and quite unique. It literally takes you to the magical land of Narnia. It's got killer tracks as well like "The white witch" "The stone table" and "THE BATTLE"(wow!)
WOW, what a memorable soundtrack!
I first saw The Chronicles of Narnia LWW at the movie theaters in December and was thrilled by the movie, and that being that i am not a fantasy film fan! I just bought the dvd the day it came out and when i was able to watch it for the first time in my house the very first thing i noticed for the first time was the awesome music acconmpanying the film.
