Another Home Run for Martina

I am a longtime fan of Martina's. I bought this CD with high expectations of the quality and entertainment value. I have to say even with these high expectations I was WOWed and blown away. I am a huge fan of the roots of country music and am usually hesitant about remakes. These Timeless classics are cradled and nurtured in Martina' hands like a newborn. She has kept the integrity of the songs and given them new wings at the same time. The time taken to make the sounds authentic and not modern sounding are noticeable and applauded! Her voice is truely from the heavens. I am glad she decided to do such an important album. These songs should be heard on the radio again. Thank you so much Martina and collaborators for Timeless!!

Great value and good listening

I have always enjoyed Martina's voice. This is, as another reviewer put it, "your parent's country music". I remember hearing most of the original versions of these tunes on long car trips to Grandma's house. I especially enjoy Rose Garden. Thanks Martina!

Martina ROCKS!!

I have always been a fan of Martina and confess the main reason I bought Timeless was because it was Martina. When I bought it I didn't think that I would like it because it was traditional country. As usual Martina was NOT a disappointment!! Timeless has become my favorite album this year. My favs are "Thanks Alot" (her singing on this--low notes to the high are so awesome), "Til I Can Make It on My Own" (cry each time I hear this), and well the whole album. If you are lucky enough try and buy the Target Limited Edition w. extra songs. Martina rocks and it is never a wonder why she is the reigning Female Vocalist of the Year. Her voice just continues to amaze me with each new song she makes. I can not wait for her next album to come out next year!! Martina, you go girl!!
