Heather Rules!

I never will never understand music listeners that expect an artist to rehash previous CDs just because they liked them. Come on! Heather's first CD was wonderful (albeit poorly promoted). Despite the regular airplay that "In My Mind" has been receiving on urban radio stations, this wonderful CD appears destined for the same fate. I would recommend Heather sign with another label as soon as her current contract is up. A singer with such talent should be platinum+ everytime out of the gate. I am grateful I have something else in my music collection to give my "This Is Who I Am" CD a well deserved rest!

Look Out Men...Give Heather Some Space

I've got to hand it to her, Heather Headley sings some of the best "f*** you man, I'm through with you" songs I've ever heard. Almost every song on here warrants a "go ahead, girl" from me, and anyone who has had it up to HERE with their significant other at one time or another. "The Letter" a great Dear John letter Heather-style: "she'll be in my prayers because she has to deal with you...p.s., forget you ever knew me..."

I saw her on the "Apollo" TV program and watched her stand there in front of a group of people who did not welcome her as they are known to do so in a good or bad way..she started singing"IN MY MIND" which I had not heard before,needless to say she wore it out and those same folks were on their feet and I had to clap for her....I had to purchase the CD...and that's all I have to say about it...the sister can sang !!!!!!
