British Soul Star

I kept hearing "Put Your Records On" via Virgin Radio and finally found out who sang it. Rarely do I buy a disc based on one song, but I was right - the record is fantastic. I would be highly surprised if she doesn't break Stateside. Definitely a must-have for anyone who appreciates soulful r&b style songs and a smooth, enchanting voice.

Refreshing

Normally I don't write reviews, but I had to on this one. It is so refreshing to hear real music again. This is a true artist in every since. She reminds me of what music used to sound like. This is an artist that I will continue to watch for future cds. When I am ready to mellow out, all I have to do is put this cd, Kem, and Goapele and I am good to go. Buy it and you will not be disappointed.
