I really enjoyed listening to Shooter's album "Electric Rodeo". Brought back a sound that I have not heard for awhile. Every song had a great melody and hook. I just found out that his father is the famous Waylon Jennings. I grew up listening to Waylon. I am hooked! It's rare to find a CD in which you like every track and don't just skip through half the songs. Every song is a good one. In the mornings I usually put it on to start out my day. Electric Rodeo is on my top ten of favorite CDs.
a new country rebel
Shooter is following in his fathers footstep as a rebel in country music. The cd starts out with a very hard country, foot stomppin song and settles down a bit and becomes a very enjoyable cd to listen to. On a few songs, you would almost think you are listening to Waylon. Shooter and his band have a lot of talent, they just need to find their spot in country music.
