Undeniably Brilliant!

Like Coldplay's vocals at times, and rappish pop. Without some of the rap, these songs would seem much more bland. There isn't a single time where I felt that the rap took away or destroyed the integrity of the song. Rather, it increased the quality ten fold. The lyrics are full of substance.

Pouring with Creativity

There's definitely something different about this particular album, as you can honestly feel Mat's passion pouring throughout the entire CD. I think that is what makes Mat's music so unique, because he really puts every ounce of his true feelings into each song. He has such an ability to form a connection to every one of his listeners, and you will automatically find yourself relating to at least one of his musical pieces, whether it's fun and up-beat with his creative rap lyrics like in "Undeniable" and "Bullet", smooth with his flowing acoustics like in "Nothing Left To Lose" and "Crashing Down", or touching with soft piano backgrounds and his heartfelt influences like in "All I Need" and "Won't Back Down". I highly recommend Mat Kearney, and I guarantee you will discover a message tucked within every one of his songs.

this album is simply fantastic. i have been unable to take it out of my cd player for the last week and a half. every single track is enjoyable, and it has much more variety than i had originally anticipated. the title track is a catchy pop tune, with grittier tunes such as "what's a boy to do," and then piano ballads like "won't back down," this album has everything.
