If you are going to like any remix album, this will be one of them
No, it isn't great. ANd it isn't close. Remix albums never are. But this remix album includes the better hand that feeds remixes from the hand that feeds single, the only remixes from the ONLY single, and then of course, the new Interpol remix of Every Day is Exactly The Same. If you haven't purchased the other singles for the new album, then this is like getting a "greatest hits" compilation of his single's remixes, while including the new one. For that reason, and the fact that this is one of the cheaper remix albums NIN has released, this makes for a pretty good remix package. The ONLY remixes are by far the best (one borderlines on being as good as the original in my opinion) and the EVERY DAY IS EXACTLY THE SAME remix is pretty darn good. Sure, the hand that feeds remixes are only mediocre, but they are just extra's anyway. The only dissapointment about this release is that it doesn't include the live rehearsed version of "LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH" found on import releases of the same EP. Bummer. Even so, if any of the latest remix albums are worth purchasing, this is the one.
Wootness Bootness
I enjoyed this little nosh of music.
Every Remix Is Exactly The Same
The days of 'Further Down The Spiral' and 'Things Falling Apart' are long gone. Even 'The Perfect Drug Versions' is far superior to this album. However, I'm still glad the album was released. 'EDIETS' ranks with 'Fixed' in my opinion. I have reviewed the songs as follows:
