I love this CD! I have owned this CD for 3 days and as I type I am listening to it for the 7th time. Every time I hear it I like it more. It is music to listen to and savor. Their sound alone is wonderful but listening to the lyrics and learning them enhances the experience. The music is hypnotic and I find myself singing bits of "If this is Good-bye" or "Beyond my wildest dreams" as I go about my day. It would be impossible to say which song I like best as there are 4 or 5 candidates for that title. This is definitely a keeper!
Emmylou and Mark Knopfler -Beyond Belief Emmylou Harris and Mark Knopfler are simply fantastic! I would give them one thousand stars if it were an option. I have seen both of them in concert and this cd is audio candy if there has ever been audio candy! Every cut on this cd will haunt you like chocolate ice cream in the freezer...
One of the Best of 2006 I am not sure about the reviewers who are looking for a "center piece". Why does any CD need a "center piece" when all cuts are equally wonderful and different from the other cuts ? Another point I would take issue with is that it does not take chances or never really breaks out. What is wrong with these reviewers ?
